I restore a lot of those trucks, I still own my first one from 40 years ago! For springs, I use Posies dropped front and rear springs, excellent quality, direct bolt in, those truck look better lowered 3". Speedway has front disc brake conversion kits, and rear brake repair stuff. C&G Ford in CA has great parts, as do Midwest Ford in Ohio. I use Speedway's wiring kit to convert to 12 volt, my latest project has a cool 274 flathead in it. Best thing, many of those truck flatheads were factory relieved blocks, which make excellent blower motors....now you're spending money!
