Default Re: Model A trailer hitch

A few months ago I installed a hitch on my 30 Tudor. I wanted something out of the box and adjustable. Look for Reese #88001 class II. Cost was $130. I had to cut a little off the top of the supplied brackets to allow the hitch to fit under my rear spare and middle tire guard. You will need to drill a few holes in the supplied brackets to mnatch the bolt holes in the bumper brackets. It took a few hours and I needed a helper and a floor jack to support it while installing it. You will need a 1.25 inch tow bar with a 5 inch lift to get it high enough to use. I hauled a small trailer to try it out. It works good.
