"Neal in CA" did a post here on this subject some years ago. He had pictures that showed his methods and his tooling for pressing the gears off and back on. After seeing his tooling, I made similar tools, mainly for holding the shaft tight enough to press that worm on correctly without bending or otherwise damaging the shaft. I've press several of these together for Fordbarn members as well as several for my own projects.
