Default Re: Room in P-U Cab?

Standing at 6' 3" and all the while, I am getting more stove up, our CCPU was getting harder to comfortably drive. Trying to function in our '31 CCPU was becoming a challenge. Mods were made. 3" of seat springs were removed from the back rest for more body room. Also, 3" of seat springs were removed from the seat bench so that I could see under the windshield visor. The shifter was bent a bit to the right so that I could more easily lift my right foot to the brake pedal. The clutch pedal's limiting top stop was relocated so that the clutch pedal now doesn't raise as high out of the floor. The clutch pedal is now located two inches lower making it easier for me to lift my left foot to the clutch pedal. The '31 CC pick up now is more comfortable to drive than our 1930 Model A phaeton. To fix our phaeton next, I guess the same modifications will have to be made. For me, changing the seat springs' height for both of the seat cushions was the greatest improvement.
