Well ,watching the footy was a bad move!spent too long there!my idea was to just drive a small way down the road and stop for the night,
I came out of the pub,pitch black and hosing down,drove about 40 ks with the 6 v headlights,stopped for the night in a gravelstockpile,next to the rail line,all night coal trains motored by, 120 wagons each.
About the biggest drama of the trip happened this morning!lost my outside mat!i forgot to tie it back on,
