OK. Not knowing the exact calibration of the carb, some 2150's had a hot air choke, a hot air assist with electric assist or total electric. I assume you bought an aftermarket full 12V choke kit.

You need to know if there is a vacuum draw at that fitting. If there is, it needs to be capped. Some choke assemblies used a controlled orifice there (filtered) to help cool the choke if full electric. Some systems did not use engine vacuum to draw heat from the choke stove but used THERMACTOR air to push the heated air to the choke housing.

A vacuum leak there will cause a fuel/air ratio imbalance (boy sure is spitting out those big college words today ... ) and draw unfiltered air into the choke housing/engine.

The 2100 would have kept it all much simpler ...
