1. Total length of tube is 4 inches ( I measured one) and has a bend
as shown in the link I posted in post #8 above. The tube has to be long enough to be below the level of the oil in pan to stop back pressure from blowing oil out the rear main.
2. I enlarged the last photo and maybe it is just the photo but it looks like drain tube is partially plugged. The bend looks good.
