Steve, sometimes it's the way the clock is mounted. I had a clock that wouldn't run with the three screws holding it in. When I removed one of the screws, it worked fine. It could be a tweaked housing that might be causing the housing to bind the works. Topher let it run for a day or two on the table and allow it to complete a couple of cycles and you might be go to go.
