The F1 had the T8 on the optional list but you don't see them all that much. Most F1 pickups had the light duty 3-speed dating back to 1942. The T8 was standard in the F2/F3. I'm pretty sure the T9 was the designation for the ones set up for PTO use otherwise the T8/9 are about the same unit. The T98 started to replace them in the Bonus Built years but they didn't completely replace them till the Hundred series came down the line.
