Yes, at that time all of the Ford companies in Commonwealth countries were Ford of Canada subsidiaries, except the United Kingdom. It is only in relatively recent times (late 1990s) that Ford of Canada and its remaining subsidiaries became wholly-owned by Ford U.S.
