Why!

If your transmission is that dirty? Maybe it needs to be removed, taken apart, and check if a rebuild is needed.

If your car is shifting properly, and you do not have excessive noise coming from the transmission. I would drain it, leaving it over night to drip out. Than refill with new oil.

Are you just feeling the need to do something to your car?

If it isn’t broken? Don’t try to fix it!
