Stainless Steel fender welting is quite easy to install if the fenders are loosely attached to the body.
Carefully form the welting to fit the shape of the fender, then mark the bolt holes and cut a U shape into the welting fiber strip at each bolt. Carefully slide the welting into place, reshaping it as you go, as needed. Once the welting is in place go around the fender tightening the bolts. Don't snug the bolts up, work you way around the fender.
Take tour time, HAST MAKES WASTE. Actually the stainless welt is installed just like fabric welt, just a little more time consuming.
