If the car and title is in the same state you live in and you have any questions about it, have the seller go with you to the DMV and do the purchase paperwork there while you get the title changed to your name. The DMV can be difficult to deal with, and why in the world did Henry put the number on the frame where you can't see it. I know titles weren't much of an issue back then in many states, but....
