The best way is to go direct to engine with ground,that is were you need the power for starter.
I have a 47 ford and I have a braided cable to body then another from body to engine head bolt. You could try the intake rear bolt.
The 59a the trans is so far back the head bolt is easy.
I guess the best place is down under to a trans bolt.
