The window frames run on rollers, the rollers have a ball on each side for a bearing, they get rusted and the rollers get loose, a metal bar is screwed over the bearing balls to tighten them, it bends when it is tightened, the channels the rollers ride in have a spring tension bar to take up play, there's a felt strip crimped into the other channel for anti rattling.
The trim and hardware catalog has pictures of the regulators, educate yourself and dig through piles of regulators at flea markets, it took me a while, I have found all 4 regulators, and all 4 foo latches , there's also repair kits for the small gear the hand crank turns, they are different than closed cars and modern listings may not be correct, you may need to take yours apart and have the parts to compare.
I too have welded new teeth on regulator gears, and cut/ welded gear sections from other donors
