Default Beeper for turn signals

I am sure others have had the same problem, that's the reason for this query.

I am using one of the small beepers that has to be wired up using the chromed alligator clips to attach wires to the small beeper which has the small hard formed contacts. Mine does not seem to be making good contact at this point, because if I wiggled the alligator clips around a little the buzzer works fine. Almost too small to solder. A larger beeper, even with tape over it,. is just too loud, ,and the wife says I'm hard of hearing. LOL

Would a little dielectric grease help? Thanks. Lawson
