From what I have seen on the Barn and on my Pickup, that is about right for a fairly stock, unbalanced motor, unmodified motor. Mine is rebuilt but did not have it rebuilt to touring specs. Same as your does 40 - 45 OK at those revs, and gets buzzy/busy when close to 50. Some motors just seem to be better than others and can go faster than ours at the cruising sweet spot.
Before being rebuilt 35 mph was my sweet spot.
