I believe a Carter WCFB, a small base Rochester 4G, or a couple of very rare Strombergs have the same "square four" base as the early Holleys. I have a couple examples of the first two, so if you could post the dimensions between the mounting studs, I could check them out and make sure. Be aware the most Rochester 4G's have a larger mounting pattern, so you need an early example (pre '55).

I would suggest another "trip" through your original carb to see if the leak is something that can be repaired and make a determination from there.
