Re: broken screws in oak, drill or give up?
I broke a screw in a set of oak cabinets, that I built, just a few weeks ago. I used a piece of brake tube a few inches long. I filed teeth on one end with a 3 corner file. I did have to recut the teeth 3 or 4 times as the soft tube wore down quickly. It worked a treat
