The question on the VTCI Forum really was geared toward the area behind the grille versus the apron/splash pan on a 'Bird (which isn't the same as on a full-size Ford because of the 'Bird not having a bolted-on/bolted-together front clip), and I didn't get a chance to comment on "black-out" treatment (will be adding to it after I submit this). But, yes, for full-size Fords, Argent Silver splash pan, radiator support/inner fenders black; grille cavity/fender sides behind the stainless trim I'm not as well-versed with as my '55 Vicky was all-black body with white roof, but has been in brown primer for 38 years and counting.
