My tires fall under a regular maintenance schedule just like the rest of the car. Inspection of tread, sidewalls and inflation needs to be monitored. I have had issues with new tires and I have run tires many years with low miles. Just age has little to do with when I replace them. How many folks replace never used spare tires when they hit their sixth birthday? Just my 2 cents worth............
