What ore you trying to do by drying it bone dry? Is it to remove the water used to rinse? Fuel tanks are subject to condensation (water) all the time.


Dump a pint of alcohol in and slosh it and drain it, done. No need to get it bone dry under normal circumstances in my opinion.
