There are deductions given for "over restored" vehicles. I'll be the first one to agree that all of my cars are well past "over restored" and therefore not exactly 100% correct per definition.
By the way, I have received deductions for over restoration numerous times. I have never argued against such deductions.
I have personally witness just two cars judged to 1000 points. One was one I had done and another was done by a friend of mine. Yes, both were "over restored".
