Sorry to hear about the downgrade to hydrasulic brakes, because of the fact it has been modified ---even original model A backing plates and drums have been modified to hyd, though as has been mentioned most likely the later 39-41, or 42-48 backing plates were used, your wheel choice shopuld be mentioned because I don't think original wheels fir some of the later drums, and the ones that "fit" need adapter rings to fit A wheel properly
