Default Re: Steering box bottom tube seal?

I have a steering box seal for the 1932 steering box and the dimensions are different than the one for the Model A. When I found out that they were no longer available I had contemplating making a few. My local hobby shop has a rack of KS, Brass Tubing that I thought I could use. It turns out that I couldn't find the correct size tubing. I measured the one I have now and the O.D. of the tubing is .420 and the inside bore is .390/.392. When I researched the cost of a custom run of the correct size brass tubing, it made it cost prohibitive, so I gave up on the idea. Silver Solder was the way I would join the brass tubing to the steel flange.
