If you’re running a sbf, a 3g is a great upgrade. I went from a power master that lasted a few years to a 3g. You’ll need to upgrade your charge wire though if running high amps. It is bigger too, I had to modify my brackets a little to make it fit. I also went with a slightly smaller pulley to help charge at idle so my lights wouldn’t dim while idling.
