The children are exempt,paragraph II in the law explains the exemption.I've had the law try to tell me there are no exemptions for children,that is why I carry a copy of it with me.Now they all seem to know about it,back a few years ago the changes to the law were not published with it,they are printed in other places altogether.For a long time it seemed like they were quoting law that was just often repeated rumor.I do think seat belts are a great idea,and I've installed a lot of them for people with old cars.I put them in my wifes MGTD kitcar for the grandkids,for some reason she doesn't seem to care about them in the A.
