Default Re: What would you pay for a 33 Roadster, no photos

Bruce, I purchased a 1936 (68-710B) "basket case" 9 years ago in a garage find with signed title. The running gear was complete with "39 brakes," a new rebuilt flathead engine with all the parts for a running chassis. The body had disassembled parts that were in fair condition. All the body parts were there and complete. It had no interior parts. The rear deck had a lot of cancer that was above my skill level to restore. I have had the roadster in the body shop for three years. It is finished except to install the complete LB interior and top. I chose to keep the roadster all stock with 6V. The reason I did this type of restoration is because of the rarity of all steel '36 roadsters. I paid $14,000 for this project. I have over 100K invested in a concourse, '36 Ford roadster, that is original in every detail. Gnolnor, Ron Long
