"Tom.... so you removed the the '35 "ears" and installed the '37 - '40 cross piece. It looks like the '35 mount drops right on allowing you to bolt the trans in using the later rubber doughnuts and bolts? Did you drill and bolt the newer mount to the chassis? Weld it in? Rivet it?"

It as been several years since I did this but, as I recall I some of the holes left over from the original ears lined up with the '37-40 mount holes. The remaining ones I drilled.
