I have rebuilt Carburetors for over 30 years, I wish it was as easy as some of the posts indicate; by the time you bead blast the cast iron housings, test to be sure all passage ways are clear, match the upper and lower housings, purchase new gaskets sets, choke drivers, etc.; size the jets, paint the housings using gas resistant paint, install the sized jets, test the floats, , etc., it takes a lot of time and investment. Then when you sell the carb, you guarantee the carb, with no core required, or core charge, then some ask why you ask so much for your carbs ?
