It should actually be a pretty much direct swap. Your flywheel, bellhousing and motor mounts should all bolt to the H series engine. I had a V8 in mine and was able to use the flywheel. So a lot of those parts are pretty much interchangeable. If it is in good condition and a good deal, go for it. I have heard that the H series is better than the G. You can adapt different distributors to get rid of the load-a-matic.
