Default Re: Oil Pump Question

Guten Abend!

It is very important that the bushings have the correct installation dimensions (0.05 mm). Drilled grooves ann't needet because there is, if rotating, the capilary effect.

First the two sleeves have to be to pressed in. Then work on the inside. Most of the time, this internal dimension has to be increased somewhat; a reamer is ideal for this.

The installation dimensions are correct if the shaft - adheres with thick oil - slowly slides vertically down from its own weight.

When the bushings are sintered, they should soak up in thin oil for a few hours.

The two oil pressure eaton wheels should touch the smooth (!) sliding plate with very little vertical movement. This is set with the seals.

I wish you success!
