Years ago I acquired two pages of "General Instructions for Installing and adjusting the Model "S" Winfield carburetor"

At the same time I got a copy dated July 1931 of the Winfield High Compress compressionion Head. Head number 6 had 6 to l and Head number 7 had 7 to 1.

By the way in 1931 the heads cost $23 each, spark plugs cables $1.25, pair offset dowel pins .50 and Champion spark plugs were $3.00 for four. The recommended spark plug for 6 Head number 6 was Champion number 7 and for the Head 7 use Champion plug numbers 13.
