Yessir- this is the genuine article, pulled out of the berry vines in '88 and rebuilt with a new chassis ['34] a '40 59A engine, '39 trans, '39 brakes, and some modern safety equip.It still uses a '34 front suspension and shocks, while the rear diff is also a '34, it has tube shocks. Newly installed fuel cell with modern rollover valving. The old 44 is still 6 volt with generator and voltage regulator. Painted as found in '88, recent show appearance brought together the fellows who last raced it in '69-71[Pontiac powered]. Car comes with drag race setup, dirt track tires and asphalt tires. Only, understand that the '34 running gear is not meant to be raced today-just show and parade laps only. Verbal local history has the car back into the '60s and then it's story is lost. Newc
