Thanks, looks like there’s no point in me buying more editions of the Catalog. This might just be another example of Ford’s left hand and right hand going different directions. The example of the 7RC 1015 might illustrate it. No Chassis Catalog ever listed the number. The 1949 Service Manual lists and fully describes it, and the 1/51 OSI obsoletes it with no substitute cited. Yet Ford engineering drawings from 1947 to 1952 show it with number changes from 7RC 1015 to 7RC 1007A to TAAA 1007A. The 3/53 Chassis Catalog finally lists 7RC 1007A as do NWRA and K-H references. The 7/53 OSI changed the number to TAAA 1007A to now agree with the engineering records, and it’s listed that way again in the 1/54 Chassis Catalog. Following that it is obsoleted again and replaced by TAAA 1007B, a wheel using the same rim and center disc but having less offset. Stu
