The front of the wheels must towed in 1/16 closer than the back of the front wheels . With the wheels adjusted closer at the front keeps the wheels going in a straight line . If the front end isn't towed in correctly it will wander and if towed out the least fraction it can cause shimmy or death wobble . Setting the toe in can be a pain . I prefer having the toe in set at a front end alignment shop .
