I am not in favor of strangers coming to my place.
I was helping a friend recently with a new rental he bought.
He had a lot of items in the place that were left in it when he bought it.
He put stuff out in front of the house and advertized "free stuff" on the web.
2 nights later people broke in and cleaned out his rental and his garage.

I called a local guy who was able to make 3 trips to the recycler.
He was happy to get the work and the scrap.
