@terry,oh I tried, but could not get the bottom channel off without removing the rod..
One side the rod was rotted out, but the other i ended up damaging these "screws" getting them off.
I did think about drilling and tapping a screw.

and @hop_up, i will get some photos and specs later when i am in the shop, thanks
