I do not know what it is actually called

The lower U channel of the window frame also has a rod with threaded ends and special beveled internally threaded brass screws on the ends.

I am in need of the screws. I can thread a piece of rod to replace the rod, but i cannot find a fastener like this.

It is almost like a bicycle wheel spoke nipple.

any help?
