Both, and in my case, free. It is a good design that has been time tested and hard to beat if you are dealing with 2x2s. Part of the smoothness of the A was attributed to the balanced 4 cyliner air intake according to Murry Fahnestock. Through the years I have used many different manifolds, my first was made by cutting the front horn off of two stock manifolds but, the Thomas/Burns/Zephyr style just works good and maintains the air flow equal distances.
