Just catching up with deuce lovers comment about cowl lamps; in some jurisdictions outside North America required separate parking, in this case cowl, lamps on all vehicles. In North America both the deluxe panel trucks (all wheel bases) and late station wagons were equipped with the all-stainless steel variety used on passenger cars, but elsewhere where cowl lamps were required on all commercial vehicles and big trucks, the lamp housing was black-painted plain steel and only the rim was stainless steel. Both types of cowl lamps are listed in the U.S. '32 chassis parts catalog.

For what it is worth, all North American '32 firewalls were originally painted black.
