I'll check for the welds you mentioned...and thank you 'wrndln' for setting me straight regarding the channels! Shows what I (don't) know....
. I have an original windshield frame that came with the project, but it is too big. So rather than cut/weld it to size I bought this one. The original frame has channel all the way around, soooooooooooo....I
assumed they were all like that. (There's that word again; my bad.)
