Solid and MLS gaskets are for HP and a real pain if everything isn´t perfectly flat...and o-ringing a flathead for solid copper isn´t a walk in the park...a normal OHV can be done in the boringbar...a flathead is a CNC machinework.
Composite gaskets is less prone to leak...
