It does appear that there has been a prior repair by gas welding a small crack on the underside of one blade.

There is a repair designed for the original two blade fan by an aero engineer that has been published a number of years ago. My three cars have been running crack free original (reinforced) fans for a long time. I have strengthened 15 of the original fans using the published blueprint, all are running crack free. One went through fine point MARC judging without being "discovered". There are a number of threads on this repair.
