The weight & leverage factor of a fully complete blown BB Chev is way higher than a flathead & I havent hurt one of them either ! Nor have I ever hurt any 6 cyl engines hanging them that way ......... guess I,m jus lucky.

Lucky? Yes. I disassembled 4 engines before I found a good block. Why take a chance.
