Sorry you folks were not privy to this info, since I happened to mention it in one of the private messages I sent to Steve, but I looked far and wide on the internet for many different ways we might be able to get an illustration or photo of engine that has the 2-bbl manual trans linkage installation. No luck. Maybe a slim chance on pinterest, but you need to be a member to view photos. I also did not bother looking thru 100's of youtube videos, where one might find someone showing off his pre '57 2-bbl, manual trans Y-block. Steves wagon already has the Fordomatic linkage, so that is no help. I looked in oldcarmanualproject too and no luck.
Seems odd that of all these '54/55/56 Ford owners here, no one has a car with Y-block, original 2-bbl and manual trans that they could take a photo of.
