Thermostat and housing
I'm installing a new thermostat on my 54 Lincoln Capri and there's some stuff in the housing that I don't know is supposed to be removed or not. Plus the new thermostat I got at Napa, which is guaranteed to fit, is too small. It'll drop into the intake manifold. So I need to know what I need to do. I'm attaching a pic of the thermostat and the stuff in the box. If anyone knows what piece goes where and if the housing needs to be empty let me know.
