Default Re: Be Careful Out There

All it takes is a moment of a in attention or distraction. Couple of years ago I put a new
starter in my 48 business coupe. I hit the button on the bottom of the solenoid to see if it would turn over. I had left the key on and the car in gear! The only thing that stopped it was a board sticking out from a post in the shed I was working in. I'm holding the front end thinking I can call my wife in the house to come knock it out of gear. Also thinking this thing could crush me against a concrete wall. OOOPs cell is laying on kitchen table. After what seemed like 3 days it stalled but I had $960 worth of damage to the door. Wife called me a dumb A## and she was right(after 40 years of marriage I hate when that happens). I pull keys out now and make sure if I'm doing something that could go wrong somebody else is there.
