Saturday, June 19, 2019, Mid-Morning Update:
Needed to pick up some Medications this morning, and since the Pharmacy is in the Grocery Store, decided to do the Shopping while out in Ms. American.
The old Gal started right up, and off we went. First to the Post Office, then on to the Pharmacy/Grocery Store.
There was a bit of hesitation when starting at the Post Office, but it was only momentarily. The start when leaving the Grocery Store was fine. Am thinking that the Cable from the Solenoid to the Starter need the Nut on the Starter tightened a bit. It's just difficult to reach, and little room to turn the Wrench.
But once on the road, Ms. American is so smooth, and when given a little throttle is willing to REALLY take off. Kind of startling when it happens, because of being used to Lorrie who just lumbers around compared.
Anyway, the old Gal seems to like being a Daily Driver/Grocery Getter again.
Getting out in the morning like we did today, kind of depletes the Energy&Focus, and then by the time that is replenished by resting afterwards, it has gotten too hot to be out. But have to just show some "class", and trundle onward through the fog.
Anyway, will keep you all updated if, when, and as progress occurs.
