Well finally moved the A model out and started on my roof insert. What a job getting the rubber strip out. It was glued in with silastic had a heap of screws that wouldn't come out.
Previous restorer ground a flat on the head of the screws dropped them into the tack strip slot then screwed the lot down with some sort of glue in the rubber slot. All very well if they were never ment to come out.
Tack strip was painted the same as the car. Any comments on getting it powder coated black to match the insert
